Mission Statement

To enrich the lives of older people in Alton by providing a welcoming, inclusive community where friendship, nutritious meals, social connection and meaningful activities help reduce loneliness, improve wellbeing and enable people to age well with dignity and purpose.

Our Value Proposition

The Vokes Lunch Club is more than a lunch service.  We provide a vital community hub that brings older people together, reducing social isolation and supporting physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.

Through affordable meals, companionship, activities and volunteer support, we help older residents remain connected, active and independent.  For many members, the Club is a lifeline that creates friendships, combats loneliness and provides a sense of belonging.

By working alongside local health, social care and community organisations, we contribute to healthier ageing, stronger communities and improved quality of life for older people across Alton and surrounding areas.
